Be Still

still·ness /ˈstilnəs/ noun: the absence of movement or sound.

My Love,

Being still is a sacred time for you to consciously and purposefully decelerate, and allow yourself to unwind and embrace the divine within you.

Dedicating your Sundays to being still is a good first step on the way to incorporating stillness in your everyday life. Did you know, everyday, requires that you make the time to just be still. In our bustling lives, it becomes increasingly rare to find moments where we are truly still, open, and receptive to the whispers of the Holy Spirit. Stillness is a beautiful time for prayer, reflection, mental preparation, or time to truly master the art of silence.

Be Still draws inspiration from Psalm 46:10Be Still and know that I am God”. You have not only the permission but the assurance of God’s supernatural abilities to pause and breathe because He is always working in your favor. A lot of times, we are afraid to be still because of external or internal pressures to get things done. The overwhelming feeling of, if I don’t do it, who will?

My love, this is a time to asses your ability to surrender and trust. What an opportunity this moment might be to exercise your faith in a God who works outside the limitations of time! Did you know He can restore and accelerate time just for you? (Joel 2:25). You are not late nor behind.  It is crucial to grant your mind, body, and spirit the rest you deserve.

Be Still encompasses various forms of tranquility. It could mean retreating to solitude, fully immersing yourself in the presence of God and loved ones, fasting, or engaging in activities that bring about peace and calmness. Perhaps it entails decluttering your physical space, indulging in a spa day, surrendering to sweet slumber, or diligently preparing your goals for the upcoming days.

I pray that however your stillness manifests, that it points you in the direction of elevation and transformation. May your stillness bring about clarity, energy, and rejuvenation to gracefully navigate and radiate on your journey.

xoxo, Phionna
